Ok, so I’ve got a blog where I post pics of what I make and, well, sometimes I just ramble on about my kids or hubby or whatever I’m thinking about.
I love having a (mostly!) crafty blog…but there is a downside to it….
I can’t post things that I’m making for my non-scrappy family on my blog because they would see everything before they get it! I make all my own cards, so I can’t post those until I know that the person received it in the mail, so I often forget to post it at all. Then there’s the mini-albums and other papercrafted goodies that I’m always whipping up for my (creatively challenged) parents and in-laws.
This amazing Journal feature and Photo Gallery here at Club Ruby gives me a *secret* place to write about and post the pics of the stuff I’m making that I can’t post on my blog right away. In fact, I worked on a super simple yet super cute mini-album at my crop last Saturday and I can’t wait to finish it up and take pics to post here. I also made some cards that I will be giving as gifts at Christmas and I can post those here too!
Of course if you are lucky enough to be surrounded by crafty people who will be joining you as charter members of Club Ruby…your Journal won’t be as *secret* as mine!!

Secrets are great
hahaha
lol I was thinking this earlier. DD and all my sisters know about my blog, so I can't post presents and cards there till after the fact, or if they are incognito in a group of other things. It's so awesome to have a place to post and get feedback without blowing the surprise :D
I am with you on that.. I was making a special "ticket" for my parents and was about to post it on my blog, oooops. Almost gavev away our surprise. This is gonna be great.
Or it is just nice to know the conversation is not out in the general public domain for who knows to see.
