The last few weeks have been kind of nuts around my house.
First we had a week-long vacation at the beach and then we all took turns getting a rather nasty version of strep throat. The girls finished up preschool and then we had a party for the girls' 4th birthday on Memorial Day weekend where just about everyone we invited came (that NEVER happens!) and both my mom and my mother-in-law were in town for over a week. Finally, yesterday the girls had their first dance recital (pics and video are on my facebook page).
WHEW!!
Over the last few weeks I've only been able to glance longingly at my scrap stuff as I hurry past on my way to do something else, but I'm getting back in there THIS WEEK. I have some ideas brewing for the July kit (yep, the DT already has it!) and I CAN'T WAIT to get my hands on Megan's new paper line designed just for die-cutting machines. (Is she not just a scrappin' genius??!! 
) I got two new cartridges when they were on sale at Joann's last week - Florals Embellished and Wrap It Up - and I can't wait to get them loaded on my Gypsy and start cutting!

The vacation at the beach sounds fun, the strep throat not so much. I have been working on one of my favorite pages *ever* with the July kit, but it's turned into one of those dagnabbit I need *this* picture that I took in 2006, two computers ago ... where issssss it lol. Good thing I have some time :D.
I love Wrap it Up (if you brought home some sand, you can put a little in a clear glass ornament and use the wrap it up for the perfect box (I have posts on it here, and can not emphasis enough gluing the bottom of the box and filling the little holes in the ornament topper with glossy accents, you can guess why I know this lol).
I'm looking forward to the new paper too. The CutMates have been awesome to cut with my Cricut. I was so good at Joanns, not so good at CricutMachine.com when they were having their $20 sale, and my local Walmart is selling the Lites on Clearance ($29), not much was left thankfully. Well not really good at all considering I supposed on a cart ban until August.
