Isn’t it awesome?! Did you put “scrapbooking” in the search? Did you find any groups in your area?
I found my first scrapbook meetup group a few years back and loved cropping with them until the organizer had the nerve to move to Kentucky and leave us all behind! The members all lost touch for quite awhile. In July of 2009 a new scrapbook meetup group formed and we re-discovered each other. But alas, that organizer decided she didn’t want to run a group anymore so we started to panic. What to do??? What to do???
The answer was clear - start our own group!
And that’s how NABS Scrapbook Meetup was formed in June of this year. We have been cropping an average of 3 times a month and are thinking of adding another so we can meet once a week. (Yeah, we’re pretty serious about our scrappin’)
Angie and I were contacted last week by someone who writes about scrapbooking events and groups in Tampa Bay for examiner.com. She interviewed me today and will be writing an article on NABS for examiner.com website. She also asked us to submit pictures of ourselves and our projects so she can include those with the article too. Now how cool is that??!!

My area just started a scrapbooking meetup. They met once and I had to work but it is highlighted on my calendar for this month!! I have never scrapped with anyone else or anywhere else so I am looking forward to it so much!! (I think) Just not sure how productive I will be......
